Au Sable Longbow

Au Sable Longbow

The Au Sable longbow, aptly named after Michigan's famous Au Sable River, was introduced in 2011. It's been well received by longbow enthusiasts due to its reflex/deflex design, larger sight window, full-radiused grip, and crowned, and cut-on center arrow shelf. Maple and Bamboo-core limbs make this bow smooth, quiet, and fast. The Au Sable riser is crafted from exotic Bubinga and carries an inlaid matching accent stripe. The longbow limbs consist of three layers: a maple core at the center, overlaid with two layers of bamboo and backed with high-strength fiberglass, resulting in a smooth-shooting and powerful bow. The handcrafted tips are layered with black and white fiberglass for a beautiful and timeless finish.

Disclaimer – Clear Glass Aesthetic Variations: Bear Archery would like to remind customers that clear fiberglass laminations may display visible streaking or cosmetic lines. These variations are purely aesthetic and have no impact on the structural integrity, safety, or performance of the bow. Clear glass cosmetic streaking is a naturally occurring characteristic found across the archery industry in any bow constructed with clear fiberglass. Because this condition does not affect function or durability, it is not considered a defect and therefore does not qualify for warranty coverage. Bear Archery stands behind the performance and reliability of all our products, and we appreciate your understanding of the natural cosmetic traits associated with clear glass construction.
